Our Executive Team
Hannah joined the Executive team in 2018 as our Financial Director. She is a dynamic and driven Chartered Accountant. She has years of expertise in not-for-profit organisations, both as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and with 10 years’ experience working at senior management level at a national charity after that. Away from Aspens she is also a Trustee and has previously held the role of Company Secretary so brings with her knowledge and experience of charity governance and compliance above and beyond the finances. Being born and bred in the area and having visited the Cornford Lane site for years before joining the organisation, she feels closer to our cause and passionate about the work we do.
Peter is an enthusiastic developer of high performing teams. He joined Aspens last year and since has worked to improve service delivery efficiency. For twenty years working internationally in the private sector he developed high-quality business operational systems. He transferred into the NHS in 2005 and NEMS (a social enterprise) in 2007. Peter has a strong track record of “making things happen” in the face of significant challenges. He firmly believes that issues that some people consider “problems” should be viewed as “opportunities”.
Teresa, our HR Director, joined the organisation before we were Aspens Charities. She brings over 20 years of experience to the Executive Team and a genuine desire to make a difference, not only to employees but also to our service users and their families. Teresa is a tenacious, loyal and dedicated professional who recognises the value of collaborative relationships. She is committed to offering Aspens staff the opportunity to grow the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver the very highest standard of care. Colleagues describe her as an approachable manager who is capable of driving and achieving results.
Patrick started his journey with Aspens Charities in 2018. As Director of Operations, he is committed to supporting our diverse team of over 500 in the day to day running of the organisation. He believes it is a challenging assignment to help a newly merged business thrive under severe funding pressure, but years of experience have given him the tools to work toward the significant transformation of this organisation over the coming three years. Patrick also has a son with Asperger Syndrome and he understands the different needs that our service users and their families might have in their life. He aims to ensure our service is there when needed and available to more families in South East England.
