A statement from our CEO Robbie Shanahan in response to the recent violence and hate crimes that have taken place across the UK.

"We are incredibly saddened and shocked by the violence that has taken place nationwide since the murders in Southport on 29th July 2024.

The racism and hate crime that has occurred goes against everything that Aspens stands for and we condemn racism, violence, xenophobia, aggression and abuse in all its forms.

At Aspens we foster an inclusive, welcoming and supportive culture for the people we support and all our colleagues, irrespective of religion or race.

We are working to ensure our colleagues and the people we support can process what is happening and are protected from any violence because of the unrest.

We stand in solidarity with those communities and individuals who’ve been impacted by these events and remain committed to promoting inclusivity and equity for all."
